More than a walking tour, this is an invitation to discover Dali through the eyes of someone who has made it home. As a newcomer to Dali, I’ll take you beyond the usual tourist trails and into the rhythms of everyday life here. We will wander through the untamed forests of Cangshan Mountain, forage for wild mushrooms and wild tea leaves, then return to my home to share tea, stories and the centuries-old wisdom of Chinese tea culture. Explore the colours, flavours and characters of a traditional local market, before winding down the afternoon in a tranquil Japanese-style tea house. A beautiful blend of nature, gentle adventure, local discoveries, tea and food culture, and meaningful human connections. Not simply a tour of places, but a glimpse into the way life is lived in Dali.
