Overview
Spend a full day on Lake Titicaca with a local guide. Start on the Uros, the islands the Uros people build from totora reeds, and see how one is made and kept afloat. Then cross about 2 hours of open water to Taquile, an island of stone paths and farm terraces whose textiles UNESCO recognised in 2005. Walk up to the main square, have lunch in a community kitchen, and take a gentler path down to the harbour for the return to Puno. Hotel pickup and drop-off in central Puno are included.
