You will spend the day tracking North America’s largest land mammal, the American Bison, alongside pronghorn antelope, elk, and wild burros across the spectacular 71,000-acre reserve. You will navigate the winding curves of the famous Iron Mountain Road, taking in iconic views of Mount Rushmore through ancient granite tunnels, and traverse the towering rock formations of the Needles Highway. At midday, we pause at a pristine alpine lake for a premium, locally sourced charcuterie picnic curated by The Bashful Bison Market.
