Overview

Just outside of Cody, Wyoming, we head into the badlands searching for wild mustangs across the high desert. We will travel backroads with big views of the McCullough Peaks, Heart Mountain, and the distant Absaroka Mountains. We spend time watching the horses in their natural habitat and share stories about the mustangs, the wildlife, and the history of this part of Wyoming. It’s quiet country here and there are plenty of wide open spaces with antelope, golden eagles, and some of the best views around Cody. Tours are relaxed, small group experiences in comfortable Ford Transit vans with hotel pickup included. Whether you’re into wildlife, photography, western history, or just want to get off the beaten path for a few hours, this is a great way to experience a different side of Wyoming.
