Overview

Heidelberg is best experienced slowly, with someone who already knows the city. The shared tour is limited to six people. You walk beside your guide. Ask a question the moment it occurs to you. If a stop feels dull, we move on. This tour also works well for: Kids, Neurodivergent guests, and anyone who prefers a conversation to a twenty‑minute monologue. Your guide lives here; this is her city, not a script. You’ll learn why the university locked up its own students instead of calling the police, what one church did with a wall down its middle, and which doorways on Europe’s busiest street are worth slowing down for. There are also bonus places; none appear on the itinerary or any map. If the group moves smoothly and the day cooperates, your guide will take you there happily. You leave with a list of the spots where locals actually eat and drink.
