Please note that even if you select “Tour Language: English(written),” the driver speaks Japanese only. Communication will be supported using a translation app, and English tour information will be provided in advance. This private shore excursion from Aomori Port mixes ancient Jomon heritage, an impressive modern Great Buddha, and Aomori’s signature culture and apple treats. Choose either the Sannai-Maruyama Jomon Site (archaeology and reconstructed dwellings) or the Aomori Museum of Art (iconic contemporary works). Then visit Seiryu-ji Temple to see the Showa Daibutsu, one of Japan’s largest seated bronze Buddhas. Finish at Nebuta Museum WA RASSE and the nearby A-FACTORY for Nebuta festival highlights and an “apple sweets dash” shopping break before returning to the port.
