Overview

Pura Luhur Uluwatu is one of Bali's six sacred Sad Kahyangan temples, perched on a dramatic cliff approximately 97 meters above the Indian Ocean. Located in Pecatu Village, South Kuta, the temple's name comes from ulu (top) and watu (rock), reflecting its stunning cliffside setting.
