MANDATORY: The Machu Picchu authorities require each visitor’s full name, passport number, date of birth, and nationality in order to issue the entrance ticket. Entrance tickets cannot be reserved without these details.

Travelers must arrive in Cusco at least one day before the Machu Picchu day tour. The Machu Picchu authorities do not allow changes to the travel date once the admission ticket has been issued.
