Join us for an unforgettable Northern Lights adventure through the stunning landscapes of the Altafjord! Travel in comfortable minibuses with a maximum of 16 guests, guided by passionate local guides who know the region and its hidden gems. Since 2007, we have used our local knowledge and experience to give you the best chance of witnessing this magical spectacle, with a typical success rate of 80–90% when conditions allow. Every evening is a new adventure! We follow the best conditions, sometimes travelling far and other times finding the lights close to Alta. Depending on our route, we may gather around a campfire or enjoy hot chocolate and snacks along the way. More than a Northern Lights chase, this is an authentic Arctic experience. Our local guides share fascinating stories about life in Northern Norway, Sámi culture, reindeer herding, ancient history and wartime Alta. We usually return shortly after midnight, hopefully with magical memories to last a lifetime!

Choose Alta Havn (Alta Harbour) as your pick up place if you are coming to Alta by cruise ship. Our guide will be waiting for you in front of the blue building with the sign "Alta Havn".
