Overview

Ride through Nuwara Eliya's tea country in your own private tuk-tuk — pluck tea by hand, taste it fresh at up to 3 factories, and hike to a hidden waterfall, guided by someone who actually grew up here. We stop at Bluefield, Kingswood, and Labookellie tea factories (at least one guaranteed, the rest depend on timing), with plenty of tea tasting along the way. On the drive up, you'll pass right by the homes of the tea pickers themselves — a side of hill country most tours never show you. It's just you, your own tuk-tuk, and a local guide — no shared groups, no rushing. Along the route you'll stop at up to 4 waterfalls, including Puna Ela and Ramboda Falls (swim if conditions allow), and wind through Nuwara Eliya town — the old post office, local markets, fruit stalls, and colonial-era buildings. Your guide speaks English and knows this hill country inside out, from the famous spots to the ones most tourists never find.
