Overview
Rafflesia Rainforest Reserve is undoubtedly the best place to see the world's biggest flower; it is located in Crocker Range near the village of Tambunan, approximately 1 hour drive from Kota Kinabalu. This park is dedicated to rafflesia, world’s largest bloom. The park has nearly twelve different species of the flower and the species can be found only in Sumatra and Borneo. Rafflesia is parasitic in nature and grows in the jungle vine stems. However, the blooms grow up to a size covering one meter in its diameter.
