From September 7, 2026, through October 31, 2027, the City Airport Train will operate for 14 months using comfortable premium buses to ensure that transfers between Wien Mitte and the airport remain as convenient and fast as usual With a journey time of only 21 minutes from Vienna Airport to the city center, the City Airport Train is the fastest way to travel – without stress and traffic jams and in an environmentally friendly way. The CAT travels between Vienna International Airport and Wien-Mitte station every thirty minutes from early morning to late at night, 365 days a year. Comfortable seats, plenty of legroom, free magazines and newspapers, news reports on video screens, free high-speed Wi-Fi as well as power outlets and USB ports are included as well.
