Overview

This is a focused Uji experience, not a rushed add-on to a bigger itinerary. A local English-speaking guide takes you through Byodoin Temple, Uji Shrine and Ujigami Shrine, and a tea ceremony at Chazuna. Entrance fees and the tea ceremony are included in the price, so you won't hit surprise costs at the gate. The pace is unhurried, with time at each stop to ask questions and take photos, and your day stays free afterward.
