Join The Table for a relaxed food tour through the heart of Lagos, where Portuguese food, local stories and Algarve culture come together. You’re not simply coming to eat Portuguese food. You’re coming to discover the stories behind it. You’ll visit 4 selected food spots, tasting around 10 traditional dishes, paired with drinks. Expect rich, savoury canned fish, fresh seafood and grilled fish, traditional sweets made from figs, almonds and eggs, and flavours of Algarve oranges, honey and local jams — paired with Portuguese wine, cold beer and a taste of Port. As you move through Lagos, your host will share the stories behind the dishes and how the Algarve’s relationship with the sea, fishing, agriculture and Portuguese history shaped the food on your plate. This is not a rushed food crawl or a list of tourist stops. It’s a chance to slow down, eat well and experience Lagos through the people, places and traditions that give it character. Come hungry.
