Visiting local homes and learning about the guinea pig breeding and corn beer fermentation process is a great introduction to local andean culture. You will be paying a fee per person and supporting the preservation of culture and this traditional activities that might get lost as they are not economically profitable. Lamay is an authentic village that represents the old style life at the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Cusco.
