Darvaza Gas Crater & Ashgabat: 3-Day Tour with Yurt Night
5.0 · 2 Reviews

Overview
Spend a night by the "Gates of Hell" — the Darvaza gas crater that has been burning in the middle of the Karakum desert for over 50 years. Watch it glow at sunset and after dark, sleep in a traditional Turkmen yurt next to the crater and meet the sunrise by the fire. Before that, discover Ashgabat, the white-marble capital of Turkmenistan, see the famous Akhal-Teke horses and walk through the ruins of ancient Nisa (UNESCO). This is a private tour run by Rovach AB, a family-owned local operator since 1993: we take care of your Letter of Invitation for the visa, airport pick-up and drop-off, an air-conditioned car and an English-speaking guide, so you can simply enjoy one of the least visited countries in the world. Breakfasts and entrance fees are included; lunch and dinner can be added on request.
