Ice Hotel and Sami Camp from Kiruna

5.0 · 8 Reviews

Overview

From Kiruna, we’ll drive to Jukkasjärvi, one of the oldest villages in the region and an important historical center for the Sámi people. We’ll visit its beautiful wooden church, one of the oldest in northern Sweden, and learn about the traditions that have shaped life in the Arctic. Next, we’ll visit a Sámi reindeer camp, where you’ll get the chance to feed the reindeer and listen to stories about the Sámi way of life, their deep connection with nature, and their ancestral culture. We’ll end our day at the original Icehotel, the world’s first hotel made entirely of snow and ice. Every winter, artists from around the world create unique suites and sculptures — a true open-air art gallery that changes with every season. An authentic Arctic experience that combines nature, culture, and art — all in one unforgettable tour.
